MX2 RETURNS!

After months of waiting the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship is finally upon us. The Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 team will kick their campaign off at the Grand Prix of Russia in less than a week’s time. The team has had some successful preseason races under their belt with Jago Geerts and Maxime Renaux looking to stake their claim on the MX2 championship and Thibault Benistant sure to turn some heads in his first full season in MX2.

It sounds as though a lot of the restrictions are fairly relaxed currently and Orlyonok could be a reminder of what a regular race is like. Imagine if the fences were heaving with passionate fans to begin the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship, a whopping 218 days after the gates last dropped at Pietramurata? The 19-race series will then take the riders across the globe testing their skills on various terrains with only the best being crowned champions at the end.

The Series is set to kick off on June 13th at the Orlyonko Circuit in Russia. Streaming will be on MXGP-TV.com
